Although Marbella is a coastal city famous for its luxury and leisure, it also has an enviable landscape full of nature where you can disconnect and enjoy the outdoors on incredible routes. We are talking about Sierra Blanca, a huge mountain range that is visible from the entire city of Marbella and crowned by the famous peak of La Concha. A point of interest par excellence in Marbella and very close to Puerto Banús that you can’t miss.

Sierra Blanca is a mountain range that runs through the municipalities of Marbella, Ojén, Istán and Monda, although the highest point is located in Marbella (Pico de la Concha) with a height of 1200 metres. From this mountain, whether you climb to the highest point or not, you can enjoy spectacular views of the Costa del Sol and even Gibraltar and the African coast.

Fauna and flora in Sierra Blanca

Around the sierra you will find amazing vegetation full of chestnut, olive, pine, stone and resin forests. As for the fauna, you may see eagles and hawks flying over the mountains, mountain goats or even foxes in the surroundings.
