Marbella is located in the western region of Málaga province on the Costa del Sol. The tourist facilities offered make it one of the most appealing resorts in the whole of Spain and the Mediterranean region. Marbella is around 56 km from Málaga, and is reached by the A-7 dual carriageway and the AP-7 (E-15) motorway. The district enjoys excellent communications with the rest of the Costa del Sol, Málaga airport and Gibraltar.
